In the year or so since I shot this (can't believe it's been a year already), I've very much grown to love this photograph.
Originally, the double exposure wasn't what I was after, so if you happen to read the comments below and there's mention of me not liking the shot, that stems from my original comment.
This is actually a really cool shot, a bit abstract from your usual style, but it's pretty cool.
Can you post up the one that was juxtaposed over the shot of the alley, that sounds really interesting?
arghh it's a real shame as there are some interesting things going on here.
The idea that you have an icon of consumerism (the shop window dummy) and it's obscured by all that old edinburgh architecture. It's actually a startling contrast between social history and economic history and if my memory of Edinburgh serves me well, it's a relavent one as the town has seen both wealth and poverty and is probably always going too.
The only thing that ruins this shot is the big white building slap in the centre of her heart (But then the oneway sign could mean something)
i agree with flibbs... the result is nice... till i read your comment, i was busy trying to decipher the meaning of the image... because i sure there was one...
just a thought... but given the response to this image, maybe you should try more multiple exposures with the holga...

DEVIANTART! Nowhere will you find a more wretched hive of scum and villany...we must be cautious.
Maybe all men got one big soul that everyone's a part of. All faces are the same man....one big self.
