Hello all,
I hope everyone is well.
First off, many thanks to everyone who's added me to their

list recently; as I've been away, I haven't had the chance to thank you, but rest assured that thanks is coming.
Well, it's was a fun filled, cinematic marathon, but the Edinburgh International Film Festival and I part ways for another year.
Missed a couple of films that I'd booked for due to extenuating circumstances (public transport being responsible on one of the two films that I missed) but other than that, it was excellent. My personal favourites out of those that I viewed were
Year of the Dog,
Death Proof and
Day Watch.
I was bummed about missing
Breach as I think Chris Cooper was going to be there, and I also missed a documentary about people who go to the cinema a lot,
Comrades In Dreams; I'm a cinephile, so it would've been great to have seen that film as I'm sure it would've something I could really have identified with. Still, both of those films should get nationwide releases (
Breach comes out in a matter of weeks here, and I'm sure my local art house cinemas will pick up
Comrades In Dreams). I managed to slip in a couple of viewings of
The Bourne Ultimatum during this time, and it's most definitely one of my favourites of the year so far, and I'm not sure there's going to be anything to beat it.
The Bourne Supremacy was always going to be a hard act to follow, but stuck with what worked so well in that film and created a stunning conclusion to one of the best trilogies cinema has produced.
In other news, I passed my driving test!
Hoping to get new work shot soon, so in the meantime, enjoy the thumbs, and take care of yourselves.
Peace, Love & Happiness,
Michael.

Saw the Bourne Ultimatum too, I thought it was a great film, the only thing that bugged me was the almost constant camera movement when it wasn't really necessary!! But that's only a minor detail

DEVIANTART! Nowhere will you find a more wretched hive of scum and villany...we must be cautious.
