Ahoy thar!
Look alive, you scurvy dogs! I be back, fresh from sailin' the Seven Galleries of Deviantart, with fresh booty for ye to cast yer eyes upon.
Aye, 'tis International Talk Like A Pirate day, and I for one be in love with this particularly blimey day of the year; for we closet pirates get to brace the mainsails, throw on our patches and pantaloons, play our hornpipes and sail forth against you wretched lubbers.
Ahem....
Yeah, I love International Talk Like A Pirate Day, it's such a great excuse to be a big kid for the day (not to mention that Pirate's are
extremely cool).
Thanks to everyone who'd commented,

'd or added me to their

, recently. I've not been able to get back to everyone as quick as I should like as I'm really busy at the moment. My studies are getting quite intensive with the workload steadily rising (indeed, I should really be doing them just now, as opposed to putting this journal together

). As a result, these journal entries are going to be a little less frequent. I try to update with a new selection of thumbs every week, but it's not going to be possible for the time being; putting these together - searching the galleries and so forth - can take anything up to the better part of 2 hours. So, I think I'll update every 3 weeks or so, and probably on the weekends. It might mean that I miss featuring a lot of great work, but I guess it'll mean that I'm spoilt for choice as to what to feature when I do knock my little meanderings together.
Thanks to the 4 four people who signed up for the postcard scheme mentioned in my last journal (you know who you are). Time has stopped me from getting them away already, but the shall all be in the post by the end of this week.
I was listening to some of my old audio cassettes yesterday (I still have my walkman, which I sometimes listen to.....yes, I remember when this place use to be all fields etc

), and came across an old album I have,
The White Room by the KLF. The KLF...anyone remember them? Wow.....
Anyways, I was listening through it came upon the sixth track on the album,
Build A Fire. God, I forgot how much I love this song! It's a real campfire kind of affair. If you like Scottish accents, then you'll probably like this, because the guys voice in this is just excellent. If you fancy a listen, then click here:

And here be a piratey video for ye, my little buccaneers:

I've probably blathered on for long enough, so I'll let you get back to what you're supposed to be doing.

This journal was brought to you by the letter H, the colour blue, a glass of water drunk from a Coca Cola pint glass, and the music of Signaldrift.
So, enjoy this grandest of blimey days, you bunch of wretched seadogs and drink up me hearties, or you'll be walking the plank!
ARRRR!!!!!!
Peace, Love & Happiness,
Michael.
