Hope all is well.

Thanks to everyone who's been ing, commeniting and adding me to their . It's all very much appreciated.

I'll be starting to upload work shot digitally, again. Whilst I'm still saving for a Nikon D300, with the way things are at the moment economically, I don't think it would make much sense to have a big blow-out and get the camera (which I have just saved up enough for). I'd rather have a cushion of money behind me as it's a substantial bit of cash to be spending on a camera.

So, with this is mind, I've bought a replacement 18-70mm wide-angle zoom, the lens that was damaged a while back and led to be being screwed over by my insurers. As the price wholesale is too expensive (£236 and rising when I last checked. New camera equipment is going up in price due to the Japanese Yen's current status next to the Pound and Dollar), I found the same lens on ebay for £119, a substantial saving.

I received the lens yesterday and it's now sitting snuggly on my camera. I must say, I'd forgotten what a gorgeous lens it is, and it's leagues ahead of the lens I was using in the interim. The smooth silent AF and ED glass are just yum!

I should also have some new film work up next weekend/beginning of next week. Until then, enjoy the selection of thumbs.
