Hi folks,

Hope you're all doing well. :)

Kind of struggling with inspiration at the moment, so I haven't really been picking up my camera at all. Hopefully the dry pact h passes and I start getting some inspiration.

As I'm sure you're all aware (if you haven't already been personally affected) that the global economy is nosediving. The pro lab that I use to get my films developed has just folded. There is another branch in Edinburgh but it's completely out of the way for me, which is a bit of a shame. However, I've recently tried out, and been very happy with, an online company called Peak Imaging. I'd heard good things about them and got 3 rolls processed by them the other week and the results were excellent.

Has anyone else noticed that there seems to be a bit of an exodus going on here at DA? A lot of my favourite artists (and people who I count as online friends) seem to be throwing in the towel and leaving. I get a lot of the reasoning behind it and a large part of the criticisms I completely agree with, but it's a real shame that all of these issues are pushing these artists elsewhere as, amongst other things, it only helps to further dilute the galleries on here.

Oh, and just over a week until one of my most anticipated movies of the last few years comes out - WATCHMEN!!!!! Ever since I read the graphic novel late last year I've been been really looking forward to this coming out. The themes that the novel touches on are quite profound at times and the visual style is just stunning. The adaptation looks immense and the word is from those who've seen it is that Snyder's nailed it. :excited: :w00t:

Anyway, enjoy the thumbs and take care of yourselves.

Peace, Love & Happiness,
Michael. :peace:
